For the price, this felt like a great deal: the place was really clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s close to both the train station and the old town. I arrived early, and the front desk staff weren’t very helpful, though they did let me leave my luggage. Roberta was on reception that afternoon when I checked in, and she was kind and helped sort out a couple of issues. Reception hours could work better for travellers: it’s open from 10 to 20, and there’s nobody available at the property outside that window. I’d still really recommend it.

The location and cleanliness were good enough that I extended my stay at Urban Oasis. The staff made me feel welcome, shared recommendations, and even booked a salon appointment for me. They went above and beyond to make everything go smoothly. The old town is about a 10-minute walk away.

The rooms are comfortable, and there’s a garden and library where you can unwind. It’s within walking distance of the city, so stay here when you visit Lecce.

The bedbugs were the worst part of the stay, and the experience was really unpleasant. I spotted one on my bag, then woke up with bites the following night. Otherwise, the administration was polite and nice, the rooms were spacious, and the balcony view was amazing. I liked spending time in the garden, and the location was central and convenient. I’d even recommend the place if it weren’t for that disgusting and unacceptable problem.
