Hotel Residence Al Belvedere Salina

Francesca, the manager, was so welcoming and helpful, and she’s a fantastic cook. Breakfast is included, with a feast of fresh produce grown on the property, and dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced. There’s great wine, too. The suites are comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. The property itself is lovely, with an ocean view and a nice terrace. It’s tucked away in a secluded part of Salina, though still within walking distance of Rinella port. This is the loveliest hotel I’ve stayed in. If I return to Salina, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. I can’t recommend it strongly enough. Thank you so much :-)

Having a kitchen unit was such a help, since we were getting tired of eating out. There’s a well stocked grocery store nearby, and we found a fish store in Santa Marina. We hadn’t planned to stay at Al Belvedere, but our original hotel had closed for the season. It turned out to be a lucky change. Francesca was an amazing host, and breakfast came with homemade jams, baked goods, and yogurt. The hotel sits high in the hills, with a magnificent view toward Sicily. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was perfect, with lots of homemade dishes, and the whole team, who are family, were so friendly and helpful. I had a great short stay here. The accommodation was very clean and well appointed. I arrived late, and Francesca, the manager, greeted me so warmly. I was delighted to be given a plate of delicious home grown fruit. Francesca also arranged a motor scooter for me and drove me down to pick it up, such great service. Thank you, 🙏 thank you 🙏 thank you 🙏. I’ll be back ❤️

The location is remote, which made for a very peaceful stay. It was exactly the kind of place to relax, unwind, and forget about troubles. The breakfasts made with home grown produce were divine, and the owners looked after us so well. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. Everything about the buildings, rooms, and furnishings was immaculate, and the outside areas, including the garden, were beautiful. Al Belvedere must be one of the finest apartments I’ve stayed in. If you want a peaceful break, I really can’t recommend it highly enough. I’m sure we’ll return to this beautiful place in the near future.
