This little apartment has a fantastic outlook over Vulcano, Lipari, Sicily's northern coast, and Mount Etna. I found the built-in kitchen especially nice, and the place is comfortable and well furnished, with a washing machine, big fridge, and 45-inch TV. It's right in town, close to a pharmacy, supermarket, bakery, bar/deli, tobacconist, bus stop, and possibly a post office too. A special mention to the owner, who's kind and helpful.
That terrace is the best part, with a wonderful view towards Lipari, Vulcano, and Sicily. It's lovely in the morning and evening, though too hot to use during the height of summer in the daytime. The kitchen and living space have large sliding windows with mosquito nets, so midday is fairly comfortable, and the sleeping area has air conditioning too. There's a fridge, washing machine, multi-burner gas stove, fast Wi-Fi, and a small bathroom. A nice little place for two.
