The views make the location worthwhile, but getting to the hotel by transport is a real hassle. Arrange a private taxi ahead of time or travel from Tirano.

We had a pleasant stay with welcoming hosts and great views. The rooms can get noisy when neighboring guests are loud.

We ate lunch at hotel Miravalle. The food was very good, though service took a little while.

We had a wonderful group stay. The dinner was top-notch, with two appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, dessert, coffee, water, and good bottled wine. Breakfast brought homemade cakes and warm pastries, with fresh ones continually coming out. The kitchen and table staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly. Rooms were warm, clean, and roomy, with spacious bathrooms. The view was spectacular, and the hospitality was excellent. Wi-Fi worked in the common area and reached up to the first floor. Highly recommended.
