Mirko was a friendly, reliable host and gave us useful ideas for things to do. We found Nido del Lago clean, tidy, and cosy, with a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. It’s a great base for Lenno and for exploring Lake Como. We highly recommend staying here. Thanks, Mirko!

Lenno is quiet, which suited us when we wanted to avoid the busier places like Bellagio. The flat is up the hill, about a 10 minute walk to the bakery or supermarket, though having the car made it quicker. Inside, there’s a separate living room and kitchen downstairs with everything you need, then a big bed upstairs and another single in the attic. WiFi, of course. The place is tastefully furnished, with some retro things on display, especially the old phones. It’s super clean and quiet, with high quality fixtures and fittings. Mirko and Paola are amazing hosts, and their beautiful two story flat plus attic room is a real gem. We also loved the air conditioning, great water pressure, quiet surroundings, the generous food and other freebies they left on the kitchen table and in the fridge, and how helpful they were.

We spent a long weekend in this lovely apartment in Lenno, with Mirko managing it and Arianna assisting. It’s a peaceful, comfortable place that’s just right for a couple looking to enjoy this area. It also works beautifully as a base for hikes and trips to the lake’s most picturesque villages, all easy to reach. We’ll be back to these beautiful places soon, and will definitely stay at Nido del Lago again.
