Agriturismo Collecammino

The pool with its view was a lovely way to spend the day after a breakfast we really looked forward to. We stayed for two relaxing days, enjoying good food and the one-of-a-kind setting with its breathtaking views. Dinner was especially good, with authentic food and carefully prepared dishes, and the price felt excellent for what we got. We stopped for lunch here yesterday while riding our scooter from Sperlonga to Castro dei Volsci. The owners were warm and welcoming, the view was beautiful, and the food was delicious and nicely prepared. We had a great time.

The pool, surrounded by greenery and looking out over a breathtaking panorama, is a lovely place to unwind. This family-run agriturismo is a peaceful oasis, and everyone in the family is hospitable, understanding, and tireless. The rooms are spotless and the food is excellent. Highly recommended.

At the end of June, we stayed here with friends and had such a pleasant time that we wanted to come back with our whole family. There was no accommodation available, so Mrs. Noemi suggested we stay at her father’s B&B bungalows at the well, a few kilometers from the agriturismo. It turned into the worst, most unpleasant experience I could have put my children and the friends staying with us through. There were 13 of us, and I gave the bungalows the review they deserved. Breakfast was included in the reservation and was fine. The problem was the pool. We were told we could swim but had to get up from the loungers because we weren’t allowed to sit on them. I was shocked: the last time, when we stayed at the agriturismo itself, we had loungers. Three weeks earlier, Mrs. Noemi had told us, and I’d also seen it myself with another couple from there, that guests at her father’s bungalows could use the pool and the sun loungers. Why had everything changed that morning? If the loungers had to be reserved, why wasn’t that explained? Why change your approach after three weeks? And when you met my husband, why did you say, “If I knew it was you, I wouldn’t have sent you to my father?” People, or rather customers, should be treated well, since they provide a livelihood and help spread the word. I praised the place a lot three weeks ago, but now I take it all back. We paid €550 between the overnight stay and dinner. I think we could at least have been allowed to use a sun lounger.
