Orient Express La Minerva

The location is amazing, and their restaurant recommendations were excellent. I work in hospitality too, so I could see the care they put into the details, comfort, quality, and guest experience. I can’t recommend this Rome hotel enough. A special thank you to Daniele (guest relation), the lovely French speaker lady at checkin, and the breakfast, housekeeping, concierge, and porters teams. I spent three nights at La Minerva and it really felt like a dream. You all made my 30th birthday very special.

The location made exploring the city easy, while the hotel still felt like a peaceful, refined retreat. I especially loved its character: sophisticated, exclusive, and full of history, yet modern and relaxing. Everything exceeded my expectations, from the atmosphere to the service. The rooms were beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with care taken over every detail. From the moment I arrived, the elegance and charm stood out. The service was outstanding; everyone was professional, friendly, and ready to help, especially Daniel. Orient Express La Minerva combines timeless luxury with a warm, welcoming feel, making the whole stay special. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, unforgettable visit.

The staff were wonderful throughout, from check-in to checkout. They couldn’t have been more helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to the breakfast and concierge teams for taking such good care of us. We stayed five nights in March, and the rooftop bar and restaurant were amazing. We loved retreating each evening to this intimate, timeless world after wandering through Rome. Hotel Minerva gave our anniversary weekend a dreamy feeling of another era, sensual and cinematic. Its location is perfect, and the staff were graceful throughout. Our room felt elegant and cocoon-like, so cozy we found it hard to leave in the mornings. The interiors have the richness of an antique cigar box, with tobacco-scented air, jewel tones, plush velvets, and burnished leathers. It feels collected over time rather than designed. The spa was a highlight too: a lavish mix of Turkish hammam and Roman bath, theatrical as well as restorative, with exquisite treatments that made us feel transported after long days exploring the city. For anyone who loves design, this is a must. Hotel Minerva captures a version of la dolce vita that feels textured, intimate, and timeless.
