The woman at reception was lovely and got us booked in. We were getting desperate after disliking two places and finding another too expensive, and we couldn't find the prices for this one. The campground slopes down toward the sea. Most pitches are fairly level, with some shade, electricity, and a sink for washing up. It looked like they were still getting things sorted after winter. The bar wasn't open, and there were three toilets and two shower cubicles with hot water, though the facilities could use an upgrade. The pool area looked nice, and a path from the lower gate leads to a sandy beach. In the afternoon we found an open bar where we could get a drink. We had a very pleasant couple of nights. The weather was gorgeous, so I don't know why more people don't come at this time of year.

The sea was clean and lovely for swimming, and there's a ramp over the rocks that makes getting into the water easier. There are lots of shaded pitches, dogs are allowed, but there isn't a dog beach. The employees were really kind. The toilets were clean but very dated. There weren't enough showers, and they were in poor condition, though they were always clean. Around 10 p.m. the disco and bar open, with loud music that goes on until 4 a.m. The disco uses the same toilets as the campground. At 1 a.m. I had to queue in my pajamas with girls dressed for a night out just to use the bathroom.

The campground is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and you don't hear traffic or other noise. The pitches are spacious, each with its own water supply and small sink. There's also a decent pool. I paid €20 per day, and there was no extra charge for my two dogs, which I appreciated. The owners are very nice. It's beside the sea at the edge of a forest, and you get a key to reach the water through a gate. There are only rocks, no sand, but they're fine for sunbathing and you can carefully follow the rocky paths. Getting into the sea was too difficult. I think a storm may have destroyed the boardwalk, and it seemed to be under reconstruction. The showers and other facilities were the part I struggled with. If you're self-sufficient in your van, though, this is a lovely, tranquil spot.

The owners are attentive and very welcoming. There's lots of shade, so you can stay cool even in summer. A good restaurant is right next door, and a small market and panificio are only a five-minute walk away. This could be the perfect campground for spending your whole holiday, if you didn't have to deal with the bathrooms and showers. There are too few, and they're old and broken. They have potential, and I hope renovations are planned :)
