The owner and staff were very kind, though they sometimes left us a bit embarrassed and cost us time. The property is about 7 km from central Lecce, which is a great starting point for exploring Salento. In August, I thought €70 a night for a double room was high for the property and services. We'd asked for two single beds but got one double bed instead. Cleanliness and breakfast were adequate, though the food quality was a little poor. The pasticciotto they offered was very good. The kitchenette is only a small corner and is awkward enough to be almost unusable.

The owner and her family were friendly and always ready to help, and breakfast was excellent. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and the B&B is conveniently placed for getting to various points of interest. Prices seemed average. Highly recommended.

It's family-run, easy to reach, and just a stone's throw from Lecce. The staff are friendly, the prices are fair, and there are several rooms, a relaxation area, and a shuttle with a driver for group travel. Lequile itself is a lovely village with plenty of shops and services. You can find designer goods at shocking prices at "Informatica2000," including Napapirji, change your phone plan, or get a smartphone repaired. The "Amato" bakery has Salento treats like "Pucce, Pizzi, Frise, and Pane di grano," and "Pasticceria Martino" is the place for an excellent Pasticciotto Leccese. Lequile sits by the entrance to Lecce's western ring road, about 15 minutes from Santa Caterina and Gallipoli, and 20 minutes from Ugento, Leuca, and Otranto.

A quiet and pleasant place, clean, tidy, and really comfortable. There are plenty of amenities, with a supermarket next door and lots of parking.
