Piccolo Hotel Del Lido

The staff were so friendly and helpful that by our second morning they already knew what we liked at breakfast. The hotel made us feel special, and everything seemed thoughtfully arranged. Our room looked out over the beach, which was clean and well kept. Such a lovely place.

The staff are incredibly caring, and the rooms and service were amazing. There’s good food and drinks too. The hotel is right in the heart of Lerici, just a few metres from its lovely streets and restaurants, and it has a beachfront area with comfortable chairs and a great view of the rest of the city. I have to come back, it’s the best hotel in Lerici.

The booking terms said I could change my reservation, but when I tried, the hotel told me it wasn’t possible and that I couldn’t get a refund. That directly contradicted the terms and, in my view, breached the booking agreement. The customer service was appalling, unlike anything I’ve experienced in over 40 years. Scandalous. Don’t book unless you’re willing to lose your money.

I visited this quiet beach spot with my parents on a trip to Italy and would recommend it to a friend. The shore was wide and clean, and the calm water was lovely for swimming. There are beach chairs, toilets, and a place to shower and change after a swim. Daniel at the front desk was professional, spoke fluent English, and even came by to see how we were doing.
