The lake views were beautiful, and the staff were friendly. We got fresh bread the next morning, which was a nice touch. The facilities were clean and fine, though they could use some updating and more capacity for the number of campers. We had a lakeside pitch during a two-week trip and stayed one night. It felt crowded, with little privacy, and about 60 euros seemed expensive for the night. A pitch away from the lake might cost less.

We had a relaxing two-night stay at this lovely campsite on Lake Maggiore. The sanitary facilities were clean and pleasant, and we enjoyed the onsite restaurant. Our camper van pitch was a good size and had enough shade, which suited us well.

We were lucky to get a better-than-average pitch with a view of the lake at this lovely little campsite. There’s a private beach, and even in the middle of the afternoon we found a free pair of sun loungers. The pizzas were excellent, and the restaurant looked a lot nicer than the usual campsite food places. A group staying there had amphicars and took them out onto the lake every afternoon. That, along with Lake Maggiore itself, gave the place a gloriously 1960s feel.

Reception staff were super helpful, the pitches were spacious, and the beach had free sun beds. The restaurant served tasty food, but a child at the next table shouted and ran around during our meal at around 8pm. Neither the parent nor staff stepped in, and it spoiled the atmosphere and the experience. Choose your table and time carefully.

The lakeside setting is lovely, and the people are kind. The restaurant serves some of the best Italian food, with amazing service. It’s a great place to camp, and the restaurant is excellent too.
