It felt like staying with a distant relative who made us feel at home. The family owners were very helpful, and the rooms were cleaned daily. We had everything we needed, including a TV, air-conditioning, fridge and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was good, served in a cosy eating area, and the price was very good. The hotel is practically beachfront, just across the street, and close to plenty of places to eat. The bus and train stations are at most 5-10 minutes on foot. Letojanni is nice, clean and quiet, with clean water and good private and public beaches. The water was a little cold in June/July, but tolerable. I found it a better choice than Catania. Taormina/Castelmola is a must-see if you stay here, and the bus takes only 15 minutes.

The owner puts his heart into the business and works hard to keep guests happy. Everything was very clean, and the hotel had been completely renovated in 2015. Our room was cleaned every day. We stayed longer, so I'd suggest choosing a balcony room with a sea view. It had air conditioning, a fridge, satellite TV and very good beds. Breakfast was good, with hot croissants, bread, ham, cheese, coffee and juice, and you can eat as much as you like. The free beach is a few steps from the door, though shoes for going into the water are recommended. It's a great base for trips to Etna, Taormina and Castelmolla. Great idea to stay here.

You can't beat the location, right on the beach. The room was okay, though breakfast could use more options, and a USB charging point would be useful. Communication from the owner could also be a bit better.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. There were plenty of towels, and the mattress was comfortably firm. Breakfast was modest but good, and the accommodation is very close to the sea.
