The view from our room was amazing, and the huge terrace with sunbeds had a spectacular outlook. Breakfast was tasty, though there wasn’t much choice. Parking was reasonable but there aren’t many spaces. The hotel is four stars on paper; when you arrive, you can see it must once have been a great place, but it needs investment and modernization. Our deluxe room smelled of old furniture at first, though the smell faded after a couple of days, or perhaps we just got used to it. The bathroom door wouldn’t close because of a problem with the doorknob. It took three days of calls and complaints to get it fixed, and we left on the fourth day. Noise isolation was poor: each morning the cleaning lady in the hall sounded like she was shouting, even though she was speaking at a normal volume. We could also hear the baby in the neighboring room as if it were with us.

The area is just beautiful, and the water was clean as the sky, even though the beach is rocky. This is a great place to visit if you’re not looking for luxury, but appreciate warm-hearted staff, including the owners. The service and housekeeping were very helpful. The sea views and private beach make this such a lovely spot, with clear water right there. Our room was roomy and very clean, and the staff were warm and really professional, always happy to go the extra mile. We’ve been back for a few years and always have a great time. The restaurant’s seafood and pasta are delicious too. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone.

We had a great sea view from both the room and its large balcony. The hotel sits right on a pebble beach and has its own beach area with loungers. The location worked well for us, with free on-site parking for our hire car and only a short drive to Taormina. The pool area looked okay, and breakfast was about what we expected from this kind of hotel.

The hotel sits right by the sea, where the green and blue meet, and our room had a lovely balcony and sea view. The building is a little old, but everything was clean and the room was quite spacious. We were greeted warmly, and the reception, cleaning, and restaurant staff were all friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Giuseppe. The one snag was the bus stop just behind the hotel. Buses to Taormina are scheduled five times a day, but during our stay one failed to arrive twice, so we only managed to take it three times. From Letojanni center, about a 15-minute walk away, the Taormina buses ran without any problems. With the seaside setting, nearby restaurants along Letojanni beach, and easy access to beautiful Taormina, Silemi Hotel is a top-notch place with excellent management and cleanliness.
