A Durm

Having vegan yogurt and a breakfast spread ready for me was one of the thoughtful touches that made this stay stand out. The rooms were cleaned beautifully, and Elisa & Chiara were lovely hosts. They sat down with us when we arrived and helped plan our trips to CT, then were always around with tips for each day's outings. It was our first time in the area and in Italy, and we arrived without knowing much about Levanto, but the place exceeded our expectations. It's a handy base away from the CT crowds, around 5-10 minutes on foot from the train station and 15 minutes from the beach. I can't recommend it enough.

We ended up feeling like good friends with Elisa and Chiara. They spent a long time helping us adjust our itinerary to miss some of the CT crowds and suggesting things we hadn't considered. When we were out hiking and couldn't get reception, they even booked dinner for us. The location worked really well, close to the station and right by the pedestrian area with its shops and restaurants. It was very peaceful at night, and our kids didn't need their usual sound machine. Our family of four, with boys aged 5 and 8, stayed three nights in one apartment, while their grandparents had another. Everything was clean, comfortable, and spacious by European standards. We liked having a fridge and the convenience of an apartment alongside the hospitality and amenities of a guest house. The beds were great, and we loved ordering coffee to have on the patio every morning. We'd love to return.

The wisteria over the big picnic table makes the courtyard a peaceful spot for lunch outside with friends. The air conditioning gets properly cold, which feels necessary in Levanto these days. We've stayed here for years and always feel at home, and people we've sent have felt the same. It's clean, in a great location, and the two sisters who own it have gone above and beyond to help us. We'll be back. Grazie mille. A presto!

The garden and lovely terrace, with lemons fresh from the tree, were a highlight. We also enjoyed the olive oil, olives, and really good coffee. The apartment was a good size and the kitchen had everything we needed. Chiara and Elisa explained things clearly and gave us great tips. Shops, restaurants, the station, and the seaside are all close by. Would definitely recommend 😘
