Hotel Carla

The service was really good, the breakfast above average, and the location is great for both Levanto and cinque Terre, since it’s near the train station. The room was small, but the bed was great. There can be a bit of noise from other rooms and the hallway. The stay exceeded my expectations!

Great location and amazing staff, but the walls are thin. I could hear people coughing and moving around in the rooms next door and above us. Each morning the cleaning staff woke us before they’d started cleaning any rooms. They set up outside our door, and the laundry bags made it hard to get in and out during the day.

All the hotel staff were fantastic, and the front desk gave us recommendations that made our stay better. The hotel is in a quiet area, very close to the train station and easy to reach on foot. Levanto has all the amenities you need, including fantastic places to eat. We visited in September this year and used Hotel Carla as our base for exploring Cinque Terre. It was just right for us: a clean, comfortable room that was surprisingly large for the area. We’d stay here again!

11/10 The staff really made our stay. They knew the town and surrounding area well, gave us restaurant recommendations, and talked us through travel options for Cinque Terre. When they heard we had a 5am train, they offered to pack breakfast for us to take along. The location was handy, under a 10-minute walk to both the train station and town and beach. They had free bikes on a first-come, first-served basis, plus beach towels. For such a small place, there were more breakfast choices than I could try in one morning. The lobby and room were clean, and surprisingly quiet despite facing the road.
