The garden at Hotel Oasi was full of sunlight and charm, and the whole place felt peaceful. Owner Sylvia clearly takes pride in it, with sweet notes and little unexpected touches reminding you to enjoy your vacation. We stayed at some much “fancier” places along the Cinque Terre, but would choose Levanto and the Oasi hands down. You’re close to the town’s restaurants and shops, yet it feels like another world once you’re inside. The beach is just a four-minute walk away, and what a beach it is! Our room was immaculate, spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The shower had lovely pressure, and the hairdryer was powerful, always a bonus when traveling. Breakfast was delicious on another level. Chef Julia made eggs to order with so much care, it felt like being in her own kitchen at home.

Breakfast in the garden was a highlight, especially the eggs and bacon cooked fresh to order. There was also a well-stocked honesty bar, and tea, coffee, water, and snacks available around the clock. We enjoyed the piano, even if it could use a tune. The towels and bed linen were excellent quality, and the free hotel bikes were a lovely extra. Clear directions sent before arrival made it easy to find the hotel and get into the secure basement parking with electric charging. At first, the welcome felt a little flat, particularly after a luxury hotel where we’d had a very warm, personal greeting. Coming up from the dark basement and walking through dim corridors without seeing anyone didn’t make the best first impression. The room was functional rather than luxurious, so we initially wondered if we’d made the right choice. That feeling didn’t last. Oasi Boutique Hotel is a lovely, well-run place with lots of thoughtful details, and the team showed genuine care. We’d happily return. It’s a small, very clean hotel in a great location, with everything an easy walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and it made a great base for exploring the area.

We came with our one-year-old, and the hotel had the room ready early with a cot set up. The terrace at garden level was great for sitting with a book and enjoying the mountain views. It’s a quiet area, and the beach is a pretty seven-minute walk away. Free bikes are available to rent too, including one we found with a child seat on the back. Best hotel in Levanto!

I wasn’t staying at the hotel, just using its luggage storage, but the staff were kind and helpful. My bags were kept somewhere secure, and there’s someone at reception during the day. That felt much more reassuring than a self-service locker. You can even book online.

It was so hot while we were there that the room AC was struggling. Oddly, it was low down right beside one side of the bed. The bathroom and shower were good, though. Breakfast was the best included European one we’ve had, with lots of nice touches. Maybe get a pom or an Aussie to show you how to fry eggs and bacon, though, as ours were perhaps a bit overdone in the air fryer. I liked that the bar stays open for self-service after hours. You write down what you drank in a book, which is nice to see when people still trust everyone’s honesty. I’d stay in Levanto over ANY of the Cinque Terra towns. It’s laid-back and authentic, and getting the train or ferry to all the busy places is really easy. We loved seeing the towns from the water, much less hectic and stifling than taking the trains. There are a couple of great pizza spots and lots of places that are almost entirely seafood. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Great little hotel, highly recommend both it and the town.
