B&B Cadorna

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I have to share what happened. This B&B was our second stop in Puglia, chosen from online reviews, especially because the apartment was supposed to have a kitchen. That was the only part of an otherwise lovely holiday that went wrong. There were dead bugs on the stovetop and a dead bee on the floor. The room is almost sealed, with just one window, so those bugs must have been there since the previous checkout. The shower tray and floor were dirty, there was hair and fur between the sheets and on the bedspread, and the toilet roll was half used. It was clear the room hadn’t been prepared for us. Even the cutlery drawer was unappealing. We looked at several B&Bs and hadn’t seen anything like it. We left that same evening, although we’d paid for the night, and weren’t given or sent a receipt. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend the property. Maybe others have had better luck, but this is what happened to us. The photos show just a few examples. When we called, the owner agreed that proper cleaning clearly hadn’t been done.
