We had to walk about 20 minutes to Lezzeno on a steep trail through the woods, and the owner wouldn’t drive us back. He’d picked us up on the way there, but said we’d have to make the return trip on foot. If you’re not used to running or hiking, that route is a real challenge. The hotel description didn’t mention any of this. I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known.

The restaurant was a highlight, with really fresh, tasty food, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. Our room was tidy and had a great view. It’s a bit out of the way, though: the shuttle only takes you to a certain point, then there’s another 500-600 metres to walk. That stretch wasn’t too difficult. We had a very enjoyable stay.

The lake views were amazing, and the food was good too. You can’t drive up to the place, so you have to rely on the shuttle, which runs until 5 pm. We booked while heading home and hadn’t accounted for the extra travel time, but those views made it feel worthwhile.

The restaurant and rooms both looked out over the lake, and the farm’s own produce was part of the set dinner menu. The staff were friendly and happy to explain the farm and its food. It’s a lovely spot up on the hill; the hosts collected us from the bottom near the bus stop. The provisions are simple, but they were enough for our one-night visit. We really enjoyed it and would come back.

We had such a lovely stay ❤️ The owner made me the best mokka (coffe), and she was the prettiest. An unforgettable experience, highly recommend!
