The location, room and staff were all great, though the selection felt a little limited. The scrambled eggs were overcooked, and I’d been hoping for honey straight from the comb, but there wasn’t any. I also noticed the fitness equipment was out of order. Still, the weekend break was quite nice.

We spent a week here on an all-inclusive stay. The rooms were clean, and the hotel is handy for both the beach and town centre. Food quality was good and there was enough of it, though the choices didn’t vary much. Evenings could get noisy, particularly in the dependance. The bikes were very useful, and there’s a designated play area for kids.

We had a lovely six days in Lignano in September. Our room wasn’t large, but it was comfortable for two, and the big balcony had chairs and a coffee table where we could sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the view. We also ordered the dinner package, and the meals were very good for the price. Best of all, guests can borrow bicycles for free, which is a great way to explore every part of Lignano. The Wi-Fi barely worked in the room, though. I could only get online outside, so I’ve taken off a star.

They’re very welcoming to dogs, which is a big plus. Service was friendly, and the rooms, though a bit old-fashioned, were tidy and very clean. Breakfast was good; dinner was just okay.

We came in November, so things were quiet. The location worked well for the sports arena and town, although only some places were open. We had no hot water on two of our five days.
