The staff were helpful and friendly, and the small hotel felt quiet and cute. We stayed one night as a family of four, in a room with a double bed and bunk beds for the kids. It was cramped but worked, and both the room and bathroom were clean. There was a balcony with a beach view, though you had to lean over to see past the umbrellas and people. I gave it three stars because of the location, staff, and breakfast. The room didn't feel like a four-star room, especially for the price. It was dated, with old shelves and beds, and the cabinets and drawers smelled moldy and dirty, so we didn't put our belongings in them. The shower molding was coming loose.

I've been enjoying this hotel for 11 years. The rooms are on the small side, but they're clean and well cared for. The restaurant is good too, with tasty food and friendly staff.

The pool area was a real treat, with a whirlpool and a separate pool for children. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning both worked without any trouble, and our modern, comfortable room was clean. We also loved the breakfast buffet, which had everything we wanted. Hotel Bristol is right by the sea, and the balcony view was breathtaking. The private beach was well arranged, with comfortable loungers and parasols. At dinner we could choose from freshly prepared regional and international dishes, served with care. From our warm welcome at arrival onward, the staff were attentive, kind, and helpful. We felt at home and had an unforgettable vacation. We'd happily recommend Hotel Bristol to couples, families, or anyone after a relaxing stay by the sea in Lignano.
