Hotel Daniele

Breakfast had a wide selection and was good, but that didn't make up for the rest of the stay. The hotel looks like a nice family place, sits somewhere quiet, and has parking beside it. You can also rent bicycles. In our room, the cleaning was poor, and the coffee mugs weren't replaced after we used them. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. Every morning I woke to vacuuming, rattling, and walkie-talkies. On the first morning, my partner and I were still in bed when the housekeeper came in. I've never slept so badly in a hotel.

The location is great, the staff are great, and the hotel and rooms look modern and nice. Breakfast was great too. Our two nights were otherwise fine, but the beds squeaked badly, especially in the quiet at night. We didn't ask for a fix since we were leaving after two nights, and perhaps it was just our room, so I imagine staff could have sorted it easily. I also gave service four stars because parking isn't guaranteed for every guest: the listing says it's free on site and needs no reservation, but there are fewer spaces than rooms, and we found that out ourselves. In April, street parking close by was easy to find, though I can imagine it being a problem during the season.

The breakfast was amazing, with lots to choose from, including seafood, cold cuts, eggs, fruit, and a huge range of desserts. This family-run hotel made us feel at home and had a cozy feel, even though it's not a small place.

I come to hotel Daniele for breakfast, but it's really the people, their smiles, and the way they treat you that make me want to return. From the owners to the staff, everyone makes you feel at home. It's a lovely way to start the day. Thank you all, and keep it up.
