Cristian, the owner, was genuinely hospitable and went out of his way to make us comfortable. New York Hotel is conveniently located, with the beach nearby, a supermarket across the street, and plenty of nice restaurants around. There’s a bus stop about five minutes away for rides into central Lignano or shuttles to Venice and Caribe Bay. The rooms are simple, but had what we needed: a hair dryer, mini fridge and AC. They were cleaned every day.

Everything was great. The staff were thoughtful, lovely and kind, and the place was beautiful. Parking was easy, and late check-in caused no trouble. It’s just a short step from the beach, and the hotel was clean and quiet. I recommend it!

There’s a fridge and a large balcony in every room, and the beach is about a 10-minute walk away. But the WiFi isn’t free: it costs 3 euros per day for just ONE device. Breakfast was the worst I’ve ever tried. The choice was only croissants, bread, cheese and a few sweets. There was still some ham on the first day, but none on the following days. Staff said they had run out.

The reception was very nice, and the rooms were comfortable. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and ice cream parlors within walking distance.

The staff were very friendly and polite, and breakfast was very good. The hotel’s location is perfect, though it felt too expensive for this kind of hotel, especially since its website lists a cheaper price.
