I was happy I stayed here. Everything was very clean, and the service was really good. The rooms have air conditioning and it works well. If you need help, all you have to do is ask. I can recommend this place 100%.

For me, the real Italy is about people, not big luxurious rooms packed with electronics. That's what Pensione Ornella gives you: the Sandri family, who have run the hotel for years and are originally from Lignano. They know every corner of this beautiful little city, and welcoming guests and doing their best for them is clearly their passion. You feel it as soon as you walk in. They treat you like a guest, not a number, and the attention and care feel heartfelt. If you have a question or a problem, family Sandri will always try to help. That kind of hospitality feels like real luxury, even compared with much more expensive hotels. I always feel comfortable and welcome here, like at home. People who haven't been might say, “It's just a one star hotel, what's special about it?” But at Pensione Ornella, the true luxury is a wonderful Italian family who care about their work and every guest, along with their professionalism and experience. This is the way!

The most kind-hearted family hotel in all of Lignano. Papa's omelet is excellent, Alessandro is a wonderful host, and mama's heart holds everything together. They treat you like their best friend. The rooms are simple, but their kindness makes everything shine 😁. Fast Mood is worth a visit too, it's a lovely bistro in the center and belongs to their other son.
