6/10
The hosts were kind, caring older people, and it felt a bit like staying at someone's home. The big green garden was lovely, and their very large dog kept watch, which felt reassuring if you aren't afraid of dogs. The rooms were plain but very clean, though close together, so there wasn't much privacy outside. Breakfast was served in the hosts' living room in a rather unusual way that won't suit everyone. The place itself is quite old and seems geared more toward older guests. Getting in means climbing a steep staircase, which isn't practical with heavy bags. We liked the familiar atmosphere and the hosts, but this wasn't the kind of accommodation for us.

The owners made us feel at home, and breakfast was a real treat. We also loved the splendid view from up top, with the whole coast in sight. The B&B is conveniently placed for visiting many local attractions. We discovered this charming place by chance, had a wonderful few days, and would happily come back.
