We tried the local Fontina cheese, Carbonade, and Polenta Valdostana, all homemade on the stove right beside you. The beer was local too, and we enjoyed that as well. It’s a cosy restaurant with a lovely mountain view 😀

Dinner was good and plentiful, and the service was attentive and friendly. The staff are very kind, though English isn’t their strong point. Up above the valley, it’s surrounded by alpine meadows and has wonderful views. The atmosphere is really quiet and peaceful. The road up winds steeply and is very narrow, but any car can make it. It’s a good starting point for hikes to higher areas.

We stopped here at the start of an alpine walking trail with our two families and teenagers. The views are amazing and the place is beautiful. The rooms were really clean and nice, and the food was delicious and plentiful.

We’ll definitely come back. The service was so kind and special, and the meals were delicious, made with local ingredients by the owners’ young daughter. Our room was warm and wooden, with a modern bathroom, in a wonderful green valley surrounded by mountains.
