The breakfast was the best I’ve had at a hotel this year: fresh juices, plenty of quality ingredients, and lots of sweet and savory choices. The room also had natural, high-quality cosmetics and a fully equipped bathroom, including toothbrushes. Sleeping in a real castle gave the stay a special atmosphere. The interior felt like stepping into another era, and the bed was extremely comfortable. It’s a lovely spot for peace, quiet, and historic charm. The road up has two steep uphill stretches, but we managed it without trouble in a BMW X3. There’s also parking lower down if the sharp uphill turn worries you. The hotel has golf carts, and a staff member came to get us and helped with our luggage. A unique and relaxing stay, highly recommended.

Every window looked out onto a beautiful view, and the beds were so comfortable, with lovely linens and plush bathrobes. The staff were kind and helpful, welcoming while still professional. This family-owned castle has been renovated with real care. The antique and modern furniture work so well together, and the design mixes historic character with a stylish, contemporary feel. It’s beautiful, comfortable, and full of heart. We can’t wait to come back.

We’ve stayed here twice, and it’s our favorite stop on the trip. The room was spacious, beautiful, and elegant, and the food was amazing. The staff were great too. A lovely place to relax, enjoy the surroundings, and eat well. Thanks for having us, we’ll see you next year!

The castle still has so much character, from its grand stone staircases and little chapel to the baronial ceilings. The public spaces are stunning, and the rooms are gorgeous, decorated with obvious care and affection for the property. Everything has been renovated to a beautiful standard. Service was simple and charming. Breakfast or an aperitivo here makes you feel like the castle is yours for the day. It’s a very special place, so do stop in if you’re nearby.
