Resort Fiocco di Neve Relais & Spa

They charge 800€ a night, and for us this was money very badly spent. This joke of a 5-star hotel feels more like a 3-star one. There’s no restaurant or room service, and the breakfast was bad, with no fresh bread or croissants. Even simple eggs cost extra, and you also have to pay and book for the spa. The rooms turn into saunas because you can’t set the temperature yourself. You have to ask reception to try to control it, but they can only switch the heater on, not adjust the heat. The towel and clothes drying rack also has to be turned on by reception when you ask. It’s ridiculous, and you get better service at a 3-star place. The manager’s a joke too. Stay far away!

The breakfast was excellent, with great coffee and cooked food if you asked. The masseuse was lovely, and most of the staff were very nice. The receptionist kindly helped us get a fan, and the team even gave us a ventilator with ice when the rooms were much too hot in summer. Still, the heat was so bad that we had to cut our trip in half and leave a day early. Thank you!

The spa was excellent, with a full menu of nourishing and therapeutic treatments. I had a wonderfully soothing series of massages. The restaurant also served delicious regional food, and the waiter service was exemplary. I stayed at the luxurious 5-star White Hotel, right in the center of the spectacular Italian village of Limone Piemonte in the Alps, close to the French Riviera. The lovely rooms and friendly staff reflected that warm, charming Italian hospitality, and the furnishings throughout had a wonderful Alpine style. My time there was unforgettable, and I can’t wait to return to this terrific oasis in Italy.
