Villa Mojana, Limonta, Bellagio | The D’Angelo Family Collection

We spent hours at the infinity pool, taking in the wide views and quiet atmosphere, and the staff made sure we were comfortable throughout. The private chefs made wonderful breakfasts and dinners, too. Villa Mojana felt peaceful and luxurious, yet it was only a 7-minute drive from downtown Bellagio, so we could enjoy the city and still get away from the bustle. My wife and I felt from the moment we arrived that this would be a special stay. It was a comfortable, convenient getaway that we’ll remember, and we’d recommend it.

The food was spectacular and the service was out of this world. Bellagio was just a 15-minute bus ride away, but waking up to those breathtaking views is what my wife and I will keep dreaming about. This place was everything we’d hoped for. Thank you so much for hosting us.

We loved our four nights in late September 2024. The room was cozy and always clean, with a lovely view of the lake and the little creek and waterfall alongside the hotel. The property felt like a peaceful oasis, with scenic lake views and a welcome break from the crowds in Bellagio. It was a beautiful place, and the staff made the stay a true five-star experience. The receptionists, onsite chef, grounds manager, and our waiter were some of the kindest hotel staff we’ve met. They helped with taxi arrangements, made wonderful personalized dinners, and took time for sincere conversations. They went above and beyond with our requests. My husband and I usually stay outside busy tourist cities when we travel, and this B&B was even better than we’d hoped. We’ll always recommend it, and I plan to stay here again when I return to Lake Como. If you want to visit Bellagio, email the receptionists before your travel dates to arrange taxis. Car services can book up during busy months, though the staff sorted things out for us. The bus from Bellagio was very easy to use, with a stop just a few steps from the hotel and a ride of about 8 minutes.

We had our wedding ceremony on the outdoor terrace, then carried on into the night with lovely drinks and snacks. Villa Mojana’s private chef prepared a delicious 3-course dinner, including slow cooked beef ragu with homemade pasta, one of the best things we ate in Italy. Breakfast on the terrace each morning was phenomenal, and the heated infinity pool overlooking the lake and mountainside was perfect. Every room had its own amazing view, and the gorgeous grounds were beautifully maintained. The staff were hardworking and extremely accommodating. We rented Villa Mojana for our wedding weekend and had an amazing time with family and friends. Wow, and thank you so much to the villa and its staff. For an intimate event on Lake Como, we’d absolutely choose this private villa.
