Al Numero Zero

That breathtaking view is still with us. Luigi is thoughtful about the little details and made us feel at home in his cozy, personal place. It was the highlight of our family trip to Sicily. We'd absolutely recommend staying here, and we hope to come back.

The kind, generous care from Stefania and Luigi made our time on Lipari unforgettable. We had lovely chats every day, got answers to all our questions, went on a trip with their donkeys, and enjoyed delicious regional organic vegetables and products. The animals, especially the donkeys, and the Aeolian Islands' rich flora and fauna are right around you, along with those majestic views. At al numero zero, you feel like part of the place, not just someone staying there. If you settle into the slower pace away from big, structured hotels, you get a real feel for island life and find yourself in one of Lipari's most beautiful spots. We'd definitely return if we get the chance. One little thing that could be improved: the sunbathing area and sunbeds. All the best, Kathrin and Alex.

The animals are adorable, so saying goodbye was hard. We also loved the view and enjoyed cooking and eating out on the terrace. The house is considerate of the environment and has everything to make you feel at home. Luigi was easy to reach before and during our stay and helped us make the most of Lipari. He knows lots of good restaurants and excursions, and we really enjoyed his company. We had a great stay at alnumero zero. Highly recommended.
