Villa Fiorentino

The rooms are spacious and open onto a lovely green garden. Beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was quiet and modern, and the bathroom and shower are separate. There's a little kitchen built into the bedroom wall, fine for making pasta but not much else, and a dining porch in front of the room. Reception staff were welcoming and spoke English. The location is handy for the two main streets but far enough away to stay quiet. The small pool is pleasant, though it's at the hotel next door. Breakfast has a wide selection, but the quality was modest. The coffee comes from automatic machines, which seemed odd with so many staff around, and the eggs were only available ready-made in a tray. There were plenty of sweets, but they were all pretty ordinary. Pool towels cost extra, and drinks were overpriced. It's a nice place to stay, though a few quick changes could make it much better.

Breakfast was great, and the staff were excellent. We loved the beautiful place and how conveniently it was located. We'd recommend it and hope to come back someday.

A ruined old church.

The rooms were quiet and we slept well. Villa Fiorentino is great for getting to Marina Corta on foot, less than five minutes away, though the port for ferries and hydrofoils is farther. There’s no shuttle from Villa Fiorentino unless you’re part of a group. Our unit had a bedroom, a bathroom with a window and shower, plus a small balcony with a fully equipped kitchenette. It all sits within a very well-kept garden, and cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast is served by the little pool at the nearby Gran Duca Hotel, which is under the same management. There was plenty to choose from, especially among the sweet options.
