Hotel Borgo Eolie

Bad weather meant we never made it to the hotel, which looks so beautiful and seems to have such flood reviews. The owners were very nice and cancelled our reservation for free. Top service! We'll do our best to try and come again.

Quiet and tranquil, the hotel feels like a place to heal your soul. It's the best in lipari by a mile, and we've stayed at a few. Everyone was amazing, friendly, professional, and accommodating. Even the room service team were lively and helpful. A special hello to tomasino, who was a real gentleman during our stay. I can't recommend the hotel highly enough.

The room was a letdown because the air conditioning only seemed to work halfway. Otherwise, the rooms were high standard, the pool area was pleasant, and breakfast was reasonable with fresh fruit. The service was very friendly and personal, and the hotel runs a regular free shuttlebus from the port and town centre.

The staff were the best part of our two night stay with friends at Borgo Eolie. Everyone was ultra friendly and eager to meet every request, from the driver who took us between the port and resort many times a day to the receptionist. The hotel is only five minutes on foot from the touristic port and also has a complimentary private bus, so getting around was easy. Breakfast had a very good selection of savory and sweet options. We loved Borgo Eolie and will stay there again next time at Lipary. It's a good example of what an Hotel should be. Many thanks to everybody.
