Le Mànnare

Really clean, quiet, beautiful casa, and the staff were friendly. A nice place to stay in Lipari. Thanks to Gianmaria & Mariaclara.

Mariaclara and Gianmaria made our visit special with their warmth, energy, and deep knowledge of the area. They were present without ever being intrusive. We loved the delicious brioches and their local suggestions for seeing Lipari authentically. We can't wait to return. Thank you for making us feel part of this magical place! Le Mànnare is tucked into nature, peaceful, and full of lovely views. The rooms are charming, quiet, and well kept, with spaces furnished warmly and tastefully. Aeolian design blends with modern comforts, so it feels welcoming and refined, even more like home. Its setting is convenient while still away from the chaos, and the atmosphere is relaxed, family-friendly, and special.

The garden, shaded by old pine trees, is open to all guests and has lovely views. We even sometimes spotted peacocks from the nearby farmhouse. Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette and veranda where we ate. The supermarket nearby was well stocked, and we walked to two excellent restaurants close to the property. Le Mannare is a little gem away from the crowds and heat of the center, and I highly recommend it. My husband and I stayed six nights at the end of August. Mariaclara and Gianmaria were a real help with their advice and availability, and arranged convenient transfers from and back to the port. The location is up in the hills, so it stays cool, but it's still close to beaches and the center of Lipari, about 6 km along a pleasant, scenic road. There's a bus stop by the entrance, with tickets bought on board. We used it to get to the center on our first day before we had a scooter, and the ride takes around 10-15 minutes. Once we rented a 125cc scooter, it was lovely to explore freely, and the distances around the island were just right. Le Mannare is in a handy spot.

Breakfast was a real treat, with fresh, authentic ingredients served in a relaxing setting that made us feel at home. Maria Clara and Gianmaria were welcoming, helpful, and always happy to recommend the best of the island with a smile. The B&B Le Mannare in Lipari is a little corner of paradise, surrounded by nature with breathtaking views. It's immaculately clean and carefully maintained. Their thoughtful touches made our stay comfortable and authentic, and we can't wait to return.
