Il Palazzo is a lovely place for a holiday with friends or family, and a great base with so many fantastic places close by. Gianna is warm and helpful, and the rooms have what you need for a comfortable stay. The pool area is great, too. Don't miss the ristorante, where they cook fresh, genuine local food. The vegetables are grown locally, and the home made pasta is incredible. Well worth staying here while you're in the area.

We had a great time here. Everything about the holiday felt well thought out and organized, from the clean pool to the restaurant serving high quality food. The views are beautiful, the air is wonderfully pure, and it's a great location. Many thanks to the hosts. Of the three highway routes in, the approach from the Mercatale side is more convenient.

A spacious, comfortable apartment, an excellent pool and restaurant, and friendly, helpful owners made this a great base in the green heart of upper Umbria. Lake Trasimeno, Tuoro, Passignano, and Castiglione are good destinations from here, and Tuscany is close enough for a quick trip. We'll definitely be back!

Three weeks of rest for the adults and fun for the children. The main sights in the area are about half an hour away. We recommend a trip to Montone through the charming Valle di Pierle, then the Rocca di Pierle on the old road to Cortona. Another lovely drive is along the eastern side of Trasimeno, between Monte di Lago and San Savino around sunset. Gianna has thought of everything to make the accommodation comfortable. Cortona, the apartment for seven, even has a washing machine and dishwasher. The shared areas are cared for just as well: the lawn is always cut, the plants are in flower, and the clean, tidy pool gets a nice breeze because it's up high. The view across the Umbrian mountains, with a ruin lit up at night, is priceless. Being able to eat at Gianna's restaurant from breakfast through dinner, and never get the same things twice, spoiled us. The prices are very generous for such high quality, locally sourced produce. Try the tagliatelle with mushrooms!
