Modern, clean, and well organized. A really welcoming three-star hotel in Chiavenna that delivers just what you'd hope for in its category.

The breakfast could use some work, but the location is handy, close to the train station and Chiavenna center. The rooms were nice, and dinner was great, with lovely Italian food.

Booking at the last minute for the Crotti festival turned out to be a lovely surprise. The updated room was comfortable, and breakfast was lovely too. We did have trouble getting a quick bite at the hotel restaurant before heading to the festival, though. The hostess wasn't accommodating.

We had a beautiful view from this clean hotel, and its location was perfect. The breakfast was very good, and the staff were amazing. Thanks to Nello for being so polite and helpful. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The shower wasn't working properly, and when we raised it, the hotel's response was that this is Italy and they only speak Italian. We've traveled all over the world and understand communication can be difficult, but we've never felt so plainly discriminated against. There are better ways to handle that than telling guests to leave if they have a problem. We were asked to leave, then charged for two nights even though we stayed only one. We felt treated unfairly because we're foreigners, and the extra charge made it worse. This completely ruined our holiday. Breakfast was poor too, with low-quality food.
