Papavero is the one to choose if you want a spacious top-floor apartment with a balcony and large terrace. The panoramic views over the lake and mountains are phenomenal, and you can find sun or shade depending on what you prefer. The location is quiet, with a nice restaurant within walking distance, and it's well placed for day trips to the hotspots in Umbria and Tuscany. The accommodation is attractive and comfortable overall. It's a detached cottage with three separate holiday apartments, each with its own entrance. Soundproofing is excellent, the beds are excellent, and the kitchen is fully equipped. There's comfortable patio furniture, plenty of parking, a large swimming pool, and reasonable free Wi-Fi. Bed and bath linens, including pool towels, are changed weekly. There's also a washing machine and plenty of hot water for a pleasant shower, though the shower itself is somewhat cramped. The owner is friendly and helpful, but speaks only Italian. For comfort, the indoor sofa and chairs offer very little and need updating. Air conditioning would be desirable in summer, as there isn't any. A waterproof canopy over the patio could be a plus in rainy weather, instead of the current bamboo shade roof. Bring plenty of mosquito repellent with DEET: the area is full of biting mosquitoes in the afternoon and evening.

A wonderfully peaceful place, with a beautiful setting, plenty of space, and a nice, clean pool. The man was pleasant.
