Costa Verde

The owner’s kindness and helpfulness really stood out. The property feels welcoming, and the rooms and facilities were extremely clean. The chalet is a 10-minute walk from the center, or just 50 meters from the free city bus that runs through the valley. Their restaurant and pizzeria is only a few steps away, and the food and pizza were excellent. I’ll stay here again when I return to Livigno. Highly recommended.

We’ve stayed at Chalet Costa Verde many times and have always had a great experience. Ms. Graziella is friendly and kind, and the rooms are well looked after and consistently clean. The price is excellent, too. It’s in a very quiet area, about a 10-minute walk from the center of Livigno, close to the Val Alpisella walk and around 10 minutes on foot from the dairy. Real Pemont restaurant is just steps away and offers in-room dining for chalet guests. I highly recommend it for short or long stays.

This overnight stay with breakfast was a disaster. There was no key for the main door, so when we returned at night from town, we had to climb in through a window. The rooms weren’t heated, and drying things was a problem. The shoe dryers were switched on only briefly in the morning, leaving the boots warm outside but wet inside. Our complaints were brushed aside. The owner came across as stingy and uncommunicative. Breakfast was very poor, with only two tea bags for eight people and unpleasant coffee. The towels were gray and looked badly washed. We do not recommend this place.

My dad and I stayed for a weekend, in a double room with twin beds. The chalet is clean and nicely designed, and it’s good value for money. The location is excellent, about 200 meters from the center, and the owner made us feel at home. Breakfast was good. My one personal complaint is the carpet. With the new faux-wood floors, I think it should be removed everywhere. Recommended.
