Hotel Bivio

So, a good friend of mine was competing in the winter Olympics, and I took the day off at the last minute to come here from Zurich. He won a silver medal, so we went out to celebrate with drinks and food. I completely missed my train back to Zurich, but the legends at this place came to my rescue. They found me a swish room and even sorted me out with a phone charger and toothbrush. Love this place. Big shout out to the Mexican guy at reception, Imat 🫶 I'm off to brush my teeth now. Good night, and wish me luck getting to work tomorrow if I'm not too hungover.

We stayed at Hotel Bivio for the second time, and it was every bit as lovely as our first visit. Our first trip was at the start of December, and this time we came at the end of February and beginning of March. Seeing the hotel at two different points in the ski season confirmed how much we like it. I'm usually quite picky about hotels, but I really have nothing to complain about here. It makes a holiday feel carefree, and coming back made the place feel special all over again. The rooms are lovely, whether you book a suite or a standard room, and everything is spotless and well looked after. Each evening we came back to turned-down blankets and a little chocolate on the pillow. Such a cute touch. A suite costs a bit more, but we found it worth it for a relaxing, beautiful holiday. We felt completely spoiled and enjoyed every moment. Everyone greeted us with a warm smile, and the kindness felt genuine. The staff are so sweet and attentive, with a warmth you don't find everywhere. Breakfast was another treat: everything was fresh and brought to the table. The bread rolls, chocolate and classic croissants were delicious, the cappuccino was perfect, and the orange juice tasted fresh. The women working there looked after us with so much care. Thank you to the whole team for making the stay memorable. We'll be back next ski season.

We had a wonderful stay at Bivio Hotel Plaza in December 2025, and it was well worth it. The Christmas dinner at the Bistrot was great, so don't miss it if you get the chance to celebrate there. The restaurants are very nice, the food is delicious, and breakfast was a real treat too. The hotel is right in the heart of the village, steps from one of the main cabin ski lifts and the Men's Super G finish line. The fancy apres ski bars are all nearby, and Bivio has probably the most prominent one. Service was excellent, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The hotel is well maintained and has everything you need, including underground parking and a ski room with heaters for ski boots. It's pet friendly while still keeping hygiene to a high standard. The spa area is small, but very clean and thoughtfully arranged. It had everything we needed to unwind after a day skiing.

I've stayed here three times and would recommend it. The rooms are clean, and the service is very friendly. Breakfast is decent, though I'd have liked a wider choice of hot dishes. The hotel is so big you could easily get lost, and rooms come in different standards to suit different budgets.
