The views were even better than the delicious food after our beach trip. But seriously, they wouldn’t let us order pizza for lunch without a reservation. There was only one other table occupied when we walked in, and they still asked whether we’d booked, then said no reservation meant no pizza. So make one if pizza’s what you want.

The restaurant food is really good, though a bit expensive. They mainly serve seafood, and the pizzas are amazing. Most of the staff don’t speak English, but they’re helpful and try to make things work for you. The bed and breakfast is lovely, right by the beach, very clean, and has all the basics you need.

The view was the only thing that made the meal memorable. Food was average, portions were small, and the prices were above average. Service was unreliable too: our side salad showed up after we’d finished the mains, and they forgot our coffee but still tried to charge us for it.

We only stopped for a quick lunch with a child. The food was okay, but there wasn’t much of it for the price, and we left hungry. The view is nice, but I wouldn’t recommend the place. The waitress told me bread was complimentary when I asked, then charged an extra 7 euros for bread and service. When I tried to ask her something after ordering, she seemed to lose interest in us because we weren’t “big spenders.” I politely questioned the extra charge, and she got angry, saying this is how it’s done everywhere and pointing to the tablecloth and napkin while stressing “service.” I said I want to choose how much I tip, and 33% of the bill felt far too much. What should have cost 20 euros ended up at 27. I can see that charge being reasonable for a larger group ordering more, but not for two people having a small lunch. Everyone can have a bad day at work, but service jobs need people who care about serving others.
