The rooms were basic, with just the essentials, including a mini fridge. Each of the two rooms we were given on the first floor had a bathroom with a small shower and toilet. We could smell chlorine in both the room and bathroom. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked fine, and breakfast was included, starting at 6 a.m. It had ham, cheese, pastries, tomatoes, cakes, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee and milk. The hotel is close to the port, which worked well since we took the ferry to Sardinia the next morning. Parking was right beside the hotel, and check-in went smoothly. Don't expect anything luxurious.

A man showed up at checkout shouting and slamming doors, which was unpleasant. The rest of the stay suited me: a very nice older couple handled check-in, I slept well, and the small shower room was manageable. Breakfast wasn't cooked, but there was coffee, some cold meat and cheese. The marina is within walking distance, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, plus a supermarket across the road.

There's free parking right beside the hotel, with plenty of room even for larger vehicles, which is really handy. The family run feel made me feel welcome, and everyone on staff was friendly. I've stayed here three times while working at the Benetti shipyard, and I've been satisfied each time. It's practical rather than luxurious, but the price is good. My room had what I needed, and the location is great, near the beach and within walking distance of Livorno's center. Breakfast had lots to choose from, including good Italian pastries and hot Italian coffee. There are also plenty of local restaurants nearby. My favorite is Cantina Sinese, with great food, reasonable prices and a rustic fishing atmosphere. For a drink after work, Bar Sirena is busy and has a very friendly service team. I have more work in Livorno, so I'm sure I'll stay here again and look forward to coming back.

The bathroom feels a little dated, but the location is great, with an easy drive to the ferry and the option of an early breakfast. Parking was great too, with a roofed spot for the motorbike behind a closed door at night. Breakfast was good.

We stayed one night in June 2024. It's a basic, functional hotel with parking on site, about 2 km from the ferry terminal. There's an elevator as well.
