For what it costs, the service isn't worth it. Hot water at the sink and shower was unavailable for quite a while in the evening and again in the morning. Breakfast was ridiculous, and even the milk had a strange smell. The reception and breakfast staff were dismissive and irritable. The elevator is narrow and old-fashioned.

It was super loud, and the service was horrible. The receptionist split up our family and wouldn't try to understand or be flexible. I've stayed in hotels all over the world, and this was by far my worst experience. The manager wouldn't speak with the customer either. If you're traveling as a family, stay away. Pay the extra euro, this place isn't worth a cent.

I chose this place for the opera, since Teatro Goldoni is about a one-minute walk away. The room worked fine for me, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd book here again if I came back to Livorno.

They asked me to send card details by email, which isn't acceptable. About two months later, when the transaction failed, they canceled our booking and only emailed us an hour before we were due to arrive. We were traveling at night with kids. That's just not okay.
