B&B a casa di PaPi

We’ve come back to this welcoming B&B for a second visit, this time to see family. The owners are so kind and helpful, and the place is new and very clean. It’s in a quiet town near the sea, with a handy location for exploring the provinces of Taranto and Salento. Thank you ❤️

The hosts are incredibly kind, and the B&B’s owner serves a generous breakfast every morning. It’s a great choice for couples or families wanting to enjoy the beautiful Ionian Sea, which is only a four-minute drive away.

I’ve stayed here before and chose the B&B again for the location, helpful staff, and services. Those points still hold true. During this stay, though, room cleaning seemed to mean only making the bed. I would have liked the floor swept and the trash emptied, and the shower gel wasn’t refilled after the first day. Dispensers in the shower would help make sure there’s always gel available and would be more eco-friendly. There are only four rooms, but mornings can feel like a busy port, with people coming and going and doors slamming. I mainly blame the rude guests who let the doors slam. It’s really unnerving in the morning if you’re hoping to sleep in.

Lizzano isn’t the most convenient base for reaching the best-known towns along the Ionian coast, though it still works well as a place to stay. Our room was new, spacious, and had all the comforts. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent, with fresh croissants and a different homemade dessert from Sonia each day. Recommended.
