The food was really tasty 🤤, and the owners are so welcoming. Everywhere is spotless, from the rooms to the crystal-clear pool. Even the paths are clean enough to walk on barefoot.

There's a nice pool, but that's about it. I wouldn't recommend going, especially considering the entrance price and what lunch costs. Bring your own things if you can. Four coffees, for example, cost between 8 and 10 euros. They don't give receipts for admission or anything else. There are no anti-COVID precautions, and the pool isn't clean. There's no lifeguard either. You can't eat in the restaurant, only at the bar, but they won't let you in there. The owner's daughter brings things out, takes the money, and that's that. The prices need to come down. This is not a luxury resort. One star because zero wasn't an option.

From the huge pool, you can watch the countryside below and the sea far off, with breathtaking sunsets. The sea is only a 5-6 minute drive away. The place sits high up, with a lovely view of the Salento sea and a steady breeze that feels great in summer. It's a charming spot for complete relaxation. This family-run masseria is tastefully furnished, and the spacious rooms are spotless. Even the bathroom amenities feel spa-quality. The food is simple, but it's made with fresh, top-quality ingredients. Less is more! I'd go back tomorrow :D

Seven of us, including two children who didn't eat, paid €370 for the pool entrance and lunch. We paid like lords and left feeling erased from the scene. I hope this is useful information. In June, pool entry was €20, with no receipt, and there were no lifeguards. The restaurant should be eradicated. The food was poor quality for unreasonable prices. We asked for Primitivo rosé and were served Negroamaro instead. The bottle, from a second-line winery, cost €23, an absolutely unthinkable markup of ten times the purchase price. There was no receipt at the restaurant either. The prices are exorbitant.

The place is scenic and has a beautiful panoramic position in the upper Salento area. Unfortunately, that's where the good points end. With a name like "Resort Masseria Celidonia" and rooms costing €200 a night, more in August, we expected somewhere refined and well cared for. It wasn't, and we left a day early. I'd suggest looking for a more sophisticated and welcoming farmhouse or agriturismo nearby instead of booking here. The high position stays windy, so forget about swimming in the pool after coming back from the beach. The pool wasn't clean, with robots running constantly, and although the description suggested two pools, there was only one. There's no restaurant or massage grotto, and other things were missing too. There was no shade anywhere, not even on the completely bare room patios. Light came in early, making it hard to sleep, and the rooms had no windows. The bathrooms smelled, were inconvenient, and had dirty water. The place is run by a husband and wife with no hotel experience. There was no staff apart from the woman who handled rooms and breakfast, and no service. In short, despite being the end of July, we were often the only guests. Building lights were rarely on and the pool was always off. There was no lunch or dinner. Breakfast was meager, with expired and untraceable products, no expiration dates, and no savory options. I felt ripped off. There were no anti-Covid precautions either. Management seemed questionable too: two spritzes in plastic cups cost €16, without a receipt, which seemed to be common practice. On our last day, we moved to a real farmhouse, paid half the price, and got top-notch service, including a wonderful breakfast, the option to have dinner, and a hot tub.
