Hotel Concordia

A lovely, well-kept hotel with clean rooms, a great welcome, and very friendly people. It's not especially cheap, but the excellent location makes the price understandable. I'd gladly come back if I get the chance.

The location made getting around easy, with the sea and Budello just two minutes away and the station a little farther. I spent four nights here and found my room peaceful, likely because it faced an inner courtyard and had a veranda. It wasn't large, but the layout and furnishings worked well. Breakfast was good and more than enough, and the staff were so helpful and kind, especially the smiling women in the breakfast room. Prices follow the current trend, unfortunately, so a stay here is really only affordable for a few days.

The staff were friendly and professional, and being just 100 meters from the sea was a real plus. The hotel is right in the center, with weekday parking about a five-minute walk away for €5. Inside, the renovated rooms have modern furnishings and comfortable beds, though they're not very big. I did notice some upkeep issues: black marks around the shower, dirty patches on the walls, and damage to the terrace walls. Breakfast tasted good, but the selection was poor. From outside, you wouldn't really guess it was a hotel. Still, I'd recommend it.
