We spent three nights in the little trullo, which has air conditioning, a TV, coffee maker, kitchenette, and mini-fridge. The bathroom is quite small but charming, with the shower built into the trullo’s walls. It’s peaceful here, less than five minutes from Locorotondo and about 15 minutes from Alberobello. Breakfast was simple, with packaged items. The outdoor area could use a bit more care. Giuseppe was a very present, kind, and helpful host. A lovely place for a romantic break.

The owners were so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Our small apartment was thoughtfully furnished and had all the comforts, including a TV, air conditioning, coffee maker, refrigerator, and toaster. Staying in a trullo was a wonderful experience. It’s very quiet and looks out toward Locorotondo. The access road is a little narrow, but drive carefully and it’s easy enough to reach.

This was the most unusual B&B I’ve stayed in: compact, completely distinctive, and still equipped with everything needed. The service was excellent and everything seemed very well organized. I didn’t meet Giuseppe, but his lovely assistants were there, and Giuseppe himself was easy to communicate with. The village is a 20-minute walk, with quite a few ups and downs. It’s a good way to work off the calories before eating at one of its many excellent restaurants.
