The best thing here is the location, right across from Lomazzo train station. From there, Lake Como is 15-20 minutes away and central Milan takes 25-30 minutes. We stayed for three days, and the hotel was small but very clean. The receptionist gave us great service and made an effort to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was included, but it was very basic. We were told it was only served from 8:30 to 9:30, despite the listed start time being 7:00 am. There are other nearby places at similar prices with better facilities and more substantial breakfasts. It's practical if easy transport access is what you need, though comfort and services have some limits.

We were driving from Calabria to London and stopped here, just a few minutes from the motorway. The place was nice, spacious, clean, and cheap, and the ceiling fans were great. Everyone on staff was friendly, and they made an effort to fit our large vehicle into the parking area.

The man at reception was really rude. He didn't even say hello, quoted room prices that seemed wildly high, and was much more expensive than Booking. When we asked about it, he responded rudely. In four weeks in Italy, this was the only time we had that kind of experience. It felt unprofessional and unfair. Better to look elsewhere nearby, since there are some good options.

The breakfast was decent, and the hotel was clean, with good staff who took care over covid safety. But the price didn't feel worth it. The mattress was awful, like a 1970s spring mattress, and you could hear people in other rooms because there was no sound insulation. Trains pass constantly right next to the station, so it was far too loud to sleep. There's no elevator, and the furniture looks extremely old and hasn't been renovated in a very long time.
