Agriturismo Le Vescovane

Staying overnight with some of our guests was well worth it. The bedrooms are cozy, and there’s a pool to enjoy. We’ve also eaten at the restaurant a couple of times outside the wedding and have always been delighted with the food and service. Our guests were impressed, the day ran smoothly, and the staff quietly kept everything moving. Le Vescovane, set in the Berici hills, and its experienced team played a big part in making our wedding a success. We chose it after visiting many other villas and locations, because of the food and the excellent staff. Giovanni was great at solving problems, always finding straightforward answers to both small and big issues. That combination was rare in the other places we saw. We’d first discovered Le Vescovane while looking for a wedding venue. We went for lunch and were blown away by the food, the variety, and the care in every detail. The ingredients are high quality, sustainable, and locally sourced. The service was impeccable, and we felt comfortable and well looked after right away. We couldn’t have picked a better venue, and it’s one of our favorite places on earth. A big hug to Giovanni and the whole team for all their care. We’d love to go to more of the events they hold through the year.

My wife and I, she’s Italian and I’m American, had looked at two villas for our wedding, but they felt too large and pretentious for us. Then we went out to dinner in the hills, having heard about this quaint restaurant, and were blown away by the grounds and the meal. We fell for the atmosphere and started imagining our wedding there. The server confirmed that they host weddings: the ceremony would overlook the grape vineyard and surrounding hills, with dinner served in the restaurant portico. My wife and her parents came back a few days later, and my mother-in-law was struck by both the setting and the food. We arranged everything with Giovanni over the next year from the US. He was incredibly attentive and made coordinating from overseas easy. On the day, he exceeded my high expectations, guiding things from the ceremony through to making sure my new bride and I had some private time, then ensuring dinner and the food were excellent. His staff were professional, attentive to every guest, and flexible about dietary needs. Everyone raved about the setting, the way the day was handled, and especially the food. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our wedding. Giovanni, this is a small way of saying how grateful I am for everything you and your staff did. We’ll keep coming back to eat, but the event you created will be hard to top. Thank you!

We stayed one night in the summer of 2015, at a very good price. After a hectic few days, arriving here felt breathtaking: so much stillness and beauty. The food was outstanding, and breakfast the next morning was too. A lot of it came from their own garden. I’d highly recommend the place.

The menu was a bit of a challenge for me as a non-native Italian speaker, but the friendly staff talked us through it and made suggestions based on what we liked. The food was excellent, and the service matched. There’s something for vegetarians and meat lovers, with a wonderful atmosphere up in the colli berici. Booking by email was easy. We’ll be back soon.
