Hotel Dolomitenblick

The dinner was delicious and plentiful, and breakfast was just as generous. This welcoming hotel is well placed for visiting Renon, Collalto, and the whole valley, with views of the Dolomites. There are also the Stone Pyramids and plenty of hiking trails with stunning scenery. The helpful guy was kind and friendly. My only downside was the price, though I’ve noticed things are a bit expensive all around here.

The owner welcomed us warmly after our drive and had a table ready in the adjoining room. Since our nervous dachshund can’t be left alone, we were allowed to eat in the cozy lounge by the fireplace, which the owner lit especially for us. That thoughtful touch and the warmth were a real comfort after the long journey. We’d been looking for a double room and a single room for a stop near Bolzano and found them at Hotel Dolomitenblick. We arrived in Klobenstein after 7 p.m., coming from Elba, where it had still been a pleasant 25 degrees at the end of October. Here it was just above freezing under a clear sky. But the evening sun on Schlern, with the Rosengarten peaks behind it, made up for the cold. After a delicious dinner, we sat by the fire with our drinks, then had hot showers and settled into bed. Even our dachshund behaved perfectly and didn’t bark. Thanks for such a lovely evening, hospitality is clearly valued here!

Our room was spacious, spotless, and very nice, with a balcony looking out at the Sciliar, Santner, and many other mountains. The hotel is impeccably kept, and the staff are friendly and always available. Breakfast had excellent quality and variety, and the restaurant served traditional food with a more refined touch. Many thanks to Mrs. Carmen for her hospitality and all the thoughtful little touches. I hope to return soon.

We had half board, and there was plenty to choose from at both breakfast and dinner. The spa had everything needed, and the owner was incredibly kind and friendly. The room was spectacular, with a large balcony and meticulous cleaning. A charming hotel overlooking the Marmolada massif. Highly recommended, 10/10 with honors.
