The owner was incredibly friendly. One evening he brought us freshly roasted chestnuts, another time he shared homemade beer, and he even let us cook with fresh produce from his own garden. We were there for a week as a family of eight plus a baby and had a fantastic stay. The pool was lovely, and the cinema room was a great bonus. Simply amazing.
Waking up to Mount Etna right there in the view was amazing. The apartment is huge and has everything you need, plus a big terrace looking over the pool and the sea. The pool was spotless and only available to guests. Highly recommended!
We had a top-notch week at Don Salvatore. The fridge was stocked when we arrived, which was a really nice touch, and the place is well located for exploring much of eastern Sicily. The pool is a good size, saltwater, and kept four children happily occupied. The rooms and kitchens are spacious, with enough bathrooms and toilets in each apartment that nobody had to wait. Service was good, and the staff were very helpful.
This was a great base for seeing the island, and the house is lovely, with pretty balconies overlooking the view and a nice saltwater pool. The owner was very friendly. We also enjoyed Taormina and the quad tour at Mount Etna, which I’d recommend. For food, try a pizza from La Lienira or a meal at Ristorante Pizzeria Belvedere in Zerrafina.
A magical spot with all the amenities nearby. It was peaceful and quiet, the welcome was warm, and we appreciated the courtesy and cleanliness. The pool was pure fun.
