We stayed just one night, but it was a memorable experience. The kids loved the farm area, animals, and nature around the place. The owners’ daughter spent the evening with them, then showed them how cows are milked early the next morning.
A lovely place to stay.
We were there for a week and still didn’t manage to see everything, so we’d love to come back. The balcony looked out over the Dolomites, and there are lots of excursions you can do from here. We brought our convertible and were allowed to park in the garage. The area is great for drives with the top down or motorcycle rides, and it’s also good for hiking. We felt very comfortable in this cozy guesthouse. The room was very clean, towels were changed daily, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was really good: homemade bread, jams, and yogurt, plus eggs and bacon every day.
We had a fantastic week at Schartnerhof. The service was the best we’ve ever experienced at accommodation. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and varied, and after hot hikes it was lovely to return to a cool, very clean room. There are good restaurants and hiking trails nearby. From the balcony, the Dolomites look beautiful, and the setting is quiet and idyllic.
I stayed there 2 years ago. It felt like a little piece of paradise, and everyone was kind. I’ll be back soon.
