La Barchessa di Villa Pisani

Hotels are hard to come by in this area, so I was glad to find Barcheessa of Villa Piasani. Everything was very clean, orderly, and quiet, and the staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help. They pay attention to the little things, which says a lot about how much care they put in. I had a comfortable, pleasant stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended.

The staff deserve special thanks for their honesty: we left our jewellery in the safe, and the hotel called to tell us before we’d even realized. Not every hotel returns something as small as a phone charger. The restaurant was good, though its glowing advertising had raised our expectations. The only room drawback was having a mirror only in the bathroom. We stayed in nine historic villas on this trip, and La Barchessa di Villa Pisani wasn’t the most luxurious, but it was the best and most tastefully renovated. Our Superior Double was roomy and nicely designed. There’s also a good-sized pool in its own private garden, a small gym, and a Finnish sauna. Breakfast offered a good variety of quality food, parking was plentiful, and free water was a welcome extra on a hot summer day. The main building is now a museum and seems to serve partly as an event venue too.

We liked our first stay so much that we booked again a week later. From the warm welcome to the beautiful, clean house, everything felt special. The peaceful park was a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine, and the rooms were spotless, comfortable, modern, and full of their own character. It felt like staying in someone's private home. Dinner was excellent too, a fine dining experience far removed from ordinary Italian food. We’re already looking forward to visiting again.

We spent four wonderfully restful days here, feeling cared for by both the surroundings and the people. The staff made us feel at home, and breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of sweet and savory choices. The waitresses were especially lovely, caring, and professional. The hotel is housed in the historic La Barchessa di Villa Pisani, right beside Villa Pisani, which guests can visit freely at any time. The building is beautifully preserved and decorated, and each room has its own character. The private garden is quiet and so lovely to wander through. Thank you so much. We hope to see you soon!
